Australorps are good egg-layers and thrive on free-range.

Our stock is proven quality. View the attached photos of our parent stock, this is what they should look like! The colour should be black with a greenish sheen. The soles of their feet and toe nails must be white.

Our poultry are vaccinated against New Castle Disease (NCD) and Infectious Bronchitis (IB). During the rainy (mosquito) season chicks older than 4 weeks are also vaccinated against Fowl Pox (FP). FP is a disease brought in by mosquitoes and, once in a flock, spreads rapidly from bird to bird. Mortality is about 70%. Our adult breeding females are also vaccinated against Gamboro to protect their chicks.
