We require someone who is ambitious and self-driven, with leadership skills.

Key performance area;

1. Assist in achieving the companies targeted broiler output volumes

2. Managing a small team of farm workers and be prepared to work shifts and or long hours when the need arise.

3. Weekly weight management and reporting the weight to management

4. Ensure that all houses and assets are kept in perfect operating condition throughout the Broiler Cycle and Ensure optimum bird welfare practices are adhered to including bird access to feed, water, housing and ventilation.

5. Filling of all administrative documents and producing monthly reports for all cycles performance

6. Managing staff attendance and shift plan.

7. Ensure repairs and maintenance are done continuously.

8. Results Requirement, Good leadership and managerial competencies.

9. Poultry production expertise on ventilation, feeding and drinker management.

10. Trustworthy and focused on results.

11. Good planning and organizational skills in a changing environment.

12. Excellent time management.

13. Have a passion to continuously learn, improve and succeed.

16. Managing and compliance of a strict bio-security environment and maintaining an effective biosecurity program by practicing good hygiene

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Matric / Grade 12

• National Diploma in Animal Production

• 1 to 2 years’ experience in an integrated Poultry Company

• Minimum 1 year in Management position

• Exceptional people/ team leadership skills: Coaching employees to help them develop a clear understanding of the requirements relating to poultry production, animal welfare and develop the team to ensure they have capability to meet the performance goals

• Good understanding of broilers • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
