Personal Assistant

We are seeking a strong, hands-on Logistics Personal Assistant to support the Director in a fast-paced transport environment. This role is admin-heavy but also operational, requiring someone who understands logistics and can assist in managing daily transport activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with daily planning, scheduling, and allocation of loads
• Communicating with drivers, clients, and depots
• Tracking vehicles and ensuring deliveries are on schedule
• Managing PODs (Proof of Deliveries) and transport documentation
• Preparing invoices, quotes, and job sheets
• Handling calls, emails, and client follow-ups
• Assisting with route planning and resolving operational issues
• General administrative support to the Director
• Verification of truck and trailer license

Requirements:

• Previous experience in logistics/transport (highly preferred)
• Strong admin and organisational skills
• Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook essential)
• Must be proactive, reliable and able to take initiative
