kozyndan are obsessed with the ocean and being underwater and hope to someday come to rest at the bottom of the sea and slowly be devoured by deep creatures over many years

Laurens (Laubar) was betrokke met advertensies, vollengte rolprente, televisiereekse en musiekvideo's. Vir hom het die terugkeer na visuele kuns gekom in ʼn tydperk toe hy onder geweldige werkstres was. Hy en sy vrou, Oelf wat ook in die filmbedryf werk, was toe besig om ʼn huis in Somerset-Wes te bou. Hy het besluit om vir hom ʼn ateljee op die solderverdieping in te rig en het van die panele wat die bouers agtergelaat het, gevat, verf gekoop en heerlik gespeel. Dit was vir hom ʼn wonderlike terapeutiese uitlaatklep. Hy het die voltooide skilderye geraam en in sy en Oelf se nuwe huis gehang. Almal wat dit gesien het, was in vervoering daaroor en toe hy 20 skilderye bymekaar gemaak het, het hy besluit om ʼn uitstalling te hou.
