A beautiful gold framed Royal Paris vintage needlepoint tapestry of French artist Jean-Baptiste Huet's 'La Laitière' or The Milkmaid. JB Huet (1745-1811) was an eighteenth-century painter, engraver, and designer best known for his animal, nature, and pastoral scenes in the Rococo manner, influenced by François Boucher. 

The large scale [915mm x 760mm] of the tapestry, striking wooden frame and juxtaposition of bright and earthy colors make a statement piece of this needlepoint. 

Yarn colors include, but are not limited to, olive, army green, mustard, bright orange, blush pink, raspberry, lavender, and taupe.
