This is a beautifully framed print of Gustav Klimt’s iconic masterpiece, Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer, completed between 1903 and 1907. Often referred to as the “Woman in Gold,” the artwork is celebrated for its luxurious gold tones and intricate, mosaic-style detailing inspired by Byzantine art Klimt studied in Ravenna, Italy.
The original painting—commissioned by Adele’s husband, Ferdinand Bloch-Bauer, a prominent Viennese banker—was famously seized during World War II and later became the focus of a landmark restitution case. Today, the original piece resides in the Neue Galerie in New York City.
