If your chickens will be primarily confined to the run, we recommend a maximum of three hens to ensure ample space.

This coop is built to last, crafted from durable pine treated with a top marine-grade timber sealer for excellent weather resistance. High-quality stainless steel hinges further enhance its longevity. Your flock will be secure and protected from the elements year-round.

The 'Nkandla XL' features two built-in roosts and a luxurious nesting compartment with two cosy nesting boxes, providing perfect spots for laying and resting. A lockable pop-hole ensures security, while the detachable ladder allows easy access to the spacious, fully enclosed chicken run. The total run length is a generous 256 cm.

Setting up your new coop is straightforward. The Nkandla XL arrives flat-packed for easy assembly, typically taking one person 45 to 60 minutes with no special tools required. You can even choose a mirror version to best fit your garden layout.
