GE-CAT 21,6 BOAT

• About GE-Cat – boats are manufactured in Cape St Francis, the boat has a beam of 2.65m and 6.70m long. The boat is 21.6ft but o the first sight it appears much bigger due to the front of the boat being very broad and has ample storage space in front, on the front of the boat the 2 opening doors consists of a big open cabin, enough space for storing all your safety equipment and rain jackets, on our outings I will use that space for the food cooler boxes and bean bags etc etc. The boat has a very big isolated on deck fish box with cutting board on top, the box is approx 1.7m x 1mx 0.6m. then behind the fishbox is a separated on deck fuel hatch, has 8 x 25l drums, under the electronic panels the batteries are stored, then there is a skipper bum seat and another big on deck hatch. I store my fishing tackle in there, then you have a false transom with more storage space but I used it for my spreader bars and tuna rigs.

• Rod holders: 16 on deck stainless steel rod holders, 5 gunnel ss rod holders, 4 horizontal trawling rod holder with 2 x 15 degree upright ss rod holders, then additional 6 x ss rod holders on the T-Top.

• Electronics- ICOM GPS VHF radio with external speaker, Lowrance HDS9 gen 2 touch screen sounder and GPS with 600w transducer, Furuno FCV585(1kw transducer compatible) sounder with P66 transducer. There is a 29meg radio and FM radio but not working just need to be repaired. Deckwas/Tuna spray pump (big pump, not the normal livewell pumps) 2.5m new Shakespeare Antenna mounted on the T-Top. The Antenna screws on and I normally store it in my garage in a bag, navigation lights, light bar mounted on the T-Top.

• Motors- 2 x Yamaha F100 motors they are carburetor four strokes. Just over 1000 hours, but services as per the intervals and they run like a dream. 90% of the hours coming from trawling. Stainless steel 17p props.

• Trailer- Double Rubex Axles with 14” wheels. Trailer is in very good condition. Non break-neck trailer. Heavy duty 5m extension for shallow slip ways. The trailer as an elevated tunnel guiding the boat onto the trailer very nicely when coming in. chains in front x 2 with stainless turn buckles and 1 x chain at the back with stainless turnbuckle

• Upholstery- completely refurbished 2 years ago. Still in good condition.

• Buoyancy- the boat was completely refurbished 4 years ago by a reputable company in EL. Removed all the old ABE foam and replaced with Sondor. 4 drain plugs at the back and she is dry that I can guarantee you, hence why I do not want any in hull hatches. We even fitted a new deck, so 4 years ago it was like a brand new hull.
