Block Yard Technician

JOB TITLE : TECHNICIAN BASED AT : PORT ELIZABETH /RIETKUIL SITEREPORTS TO : MANAGER Job PurposeKolbe blocks is currently seeking and experienced technicianat our Rietkuil Site in Port Elizabeth. The individual will be required toprovide Technical and Maintenance support to our concrete block yard plant. Salary: R10 000 – R15 000 Depended on Experience Position: Temporality review after 3 – 6 months Availability: Immediately Minimum Requirements: Must be a male age (25 – 45 years). Communicate verbally and in writing in English.3. Must have own reliable transport, drivers’ license (Code 8 or Code 10).4. Must have a Grade 12.5. Ability to work long hours if required.6. Ability to meet strict deadlines. 7. Ability to work under pressure. 8. Ability to work without supervision.9. Min3 – 5years maintenance experience within a block yard enviro.10. Ability to do welding (Tig, Mig,).11. Haveexperience working with all hand tools (i.e., grinder, drill, cutting torch,etc).12. Have Clear criminal record. 13. Must be Medically and Physically fit. Working hours will be accordance to days and hours asoperational required, which is generally from Monday to Saturday, Mon - Fri7:00 – 17:00 and Saturday’s 7:00 and 14:00. However, work outside of these daysand hours will be mandatory should there be an operational need. There will be no allowances and company benefits. * Candidate will be required to do a Compulsory 2 – 4weeks trial period.
