Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily site operations for ventilation and ducting installation projects.
  • Lead and coordinate a dedicated on-site installation team.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
  • Liaise closely with mechanical engineers, project managers, production staff, and draftsmen.
  • Conduct site visits prior to installation to assess requirements and plan resources.
  • Plan projects efficiently, including the hiring of installation equipment (e.g. cranes, cherry pickers, scaffolding).
  • Prepare and maintain safety files for each installation, ensuring full compliance with site regulations.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, proactively resolving on-site challenges.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12) essential; a technical or engineering qualification advantageous.
  • Proven site management experience in the mechanical or HVAC industry.
  • Strong understanding of ducting systems and installation processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Must be hands-on and comfortable managing site activities directly.
  • Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to various project sites.
