Senior Electronic Hardware Design Engineer

In this senior role, youll spearhead the design, simulation, and development of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) for advanced aerospace and defense systems. Youll mentor junior engineers, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with stringent industry standards. Education:

• B.Eng or M.Eng in Electronic Engineering (or similar)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Minimum 10 years experience (15+ years preferred) in electronic hardware design
• Military or Aerospace industry experience advantageous
• Proficiency in:
  • Altium (non-negotiable)
  • LTspice or similar simulation tools
  • Microsoft Word & Excel
• Expertise in:
  • Schematic design, PCB design, circuit simulation and analysis
  • Analog, digital, and communication hardware designs
• Familiarity with standards: DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, DO-254 (advantageous)
• Additional preferred skills:
  • High-speed digital design (50GbE to 100GbE)
  • MTBF calculations, FMEA circuit analysis
  • IPC design courses for Military & Aerospace applications
  • Experience with 3U VPX and backplane design
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
