Youll handle certified payroll reporting, prevailing wage compliance, and regulatory submissions. Working remotely from South Africa, youll play a vital role in maintaining payroll integrity, supporting audits, and enabling the business to meet its operational obligations on time, every time.Key ResponsibilitiesMinimum 5 years of payroll experience, with a strong focus on certified payroll and prevailing wage complianceCompile and reconcile payroll data for field employees with precision and accuracyProcess and submit certified payroll and prevailing wage reports to meet state and federal deadlinesMaintain detailed and accurate payroll records and ensure full audit readinessEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour regulationsAddress certified payroll and labour compliance queries from internal and external stakeholdersCollaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and management to resolve payroll discrepanciesSupport audits by preparing and submitting required documentation promptlyContribute to additional payroll tasks and compliance projects as requiredAbout YouAt least 5 years of payroll experience, specifically in certified payroll and prevailing wage projectsExperience with US-based companies, ideally in the construction or utilities sectorsFamiliar with union payroll processes (desirable)Proficient in payroll software, labour compliance platforms, and Microsoft Office SuiteExceptional attention to detail and accuracy; organized and methodicalStrong written and verbal communication skills with a clear, professional toneAble to work independently, take initiative, and manage tasks with minimal supervisionComfortable working PST business hours from South AfricaClear English with no accent preferred for professional client communication
