We’re looking for a driven and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our Bloemfontein team. The ideal candidate has solid experience in the construction industry, thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, and is passionate about building strong relationships with retail merchants, contractors, and developers. If you have a proven track record in sales, a good understanding of construction products, and the ability to identify market opportunities, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Drive sales of construction products to retail merchants and achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, contractors, and developers.
- Promote product value through technical knowledge and tailored solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and support product launches.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and manage account-related admin.
- Ensure debt collection and stock merchandising within your area.
- Deliver product training and support to customers as needed.
Requirements
- Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Diploma or degree in construction/building disciplines (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing sales role
- Proven success in sales, especially in introducing new products
- Strong understanding of the construction industry and procurement processes
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
