Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Lay out, assemble and install various types and sizes of pipe systems
• Commission and maintain Gas Suppression Systems and Sprinkler Systems
• Fire stopping and Fire sealing
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Ensure that the team complies with Health & Safety requirements on-site
• Fully responsible for the teams' vehicle, equipment & tools, stock, etc.
• Be the liaison between client and project owners
• Must be flexible and able to do other mechanical work as and when required

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with pipe threading and roll grooving
• Clear criminal record
• Physically fit (medicals will be done for occupational certificate of fitness)
• Sober habits (regular drug and alcohol tests will be done throughout employment)
• Driver's Licence compulsory
• A valid South African ID
• Must live within 20km of Cape Town International Airport at the time of applying for this job
