Senior Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial automation systems using PLC, SCADA, HMI, drives, sensors, instrumentation, and networking technologies.
• Draft and implement PLC logic (Phoenix Contact, Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Omron, ABB, etc.).
• Configure SCADA/HMI interfaces and dashboards.
• Perform onsite commissioning, FAT, SAT, and system integration.
• Troubleshoot hardware and communication issues (I/O faults, sensors, VFDs, encoders, comms buses).
• Interpret electrical diagrams, P&IDs, and loop drawings.
• Implement industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, MQTT).
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and risk assessments.
• Prepare documentation (functional specs, manuals, IO lists, as-builts).

Education & Experience

• 5+ years hands-on automation engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency with at least one major PLC/SCADA platform.
• Ability to lead projects, mentor juniors, and interface with clients.
• Skilled in designing complete automation systems end-to-end (electrical + commissioning + integration).
