Assistant Operations Warehouse Manager – Johannesburg
Location: Longmeadow Business Park, Modderfontein.

Our Johannesburg is our largest warehouse and is vital to our operations, ensuring smooth and efficient logistics that meet the demands of our growing business is extremely important.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Warehouse Manager to oversee our Johannesburg warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient inventory control, timely dispatch, maintaining a fleet of vehicles and maintaining safety standards. They will play a crucial role in ensuring our products reach our clients in a timely and organized manner, contributing directly to the success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods.
• Assist with inventory and stock control.
• Optimize delivery efficiency ( 60 deliveries per day ) and reduce lead times both to our clients and interbranch transfers
• Monitor and maintain health, safety, and environmental standards in compliance with company policies.
• Assist the warehouse manager in managing a team of approximately 20 warehouse staff.
• Implement and manage warehouse systems and processes to improve productivity.
• Handle daily basic record-keeping, and communication with the head office based in Cape Town.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Drivers License
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel and Word
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Experience in the signage or digital printing industry is a plus, but not essential.

Salary R12k to R14k per month depending on experience
