Warehouse Assistant / Picker Position R7500.00

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Assistant / Picker to join our team.

Requirements:

• Must have 1–2 years warehouse experience.

• Please do not apply if you do not have warehouse experience.

• Must understand stock taking procedures.

• Must be able to pick stock accurately.

• Must understand and work with bin locations.

• Experience in the automotive industry will be an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing stock accurately according to picking slips.

• Checking stock before dispatch to ensure the correct items and quantities are sent.

• Assisting with receiving and offloading incoming stock.

• Inspecting incoming stock for damages and reporting any discrepancies.

• Packing stock securely to prevent damages during transport.

• Assisting with stock take and cycle counts.

• Ensuring stock is placed in the correct bin locations.

• Keeping the warehouse clean, neat, and organised at all times.

• Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles.

• Labelling stock correctly.

• Reporting shortages, damages, or stock variances to the Warehouse Manager.

• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.

• Following company procedures and safety regulations.

• Working as part of a team to ensure daily targets are met.

• Physically fit and able to lift stock.
