Manufacturing Admin Clerk/ Data Capture

A manufacturing company in Alrode Alberton would like to employ a well organised individual for the services of a Manufacturing Clerk/ Data Capture.

Duties:

Manufacturing Data Capturing and Reporting

Manufacture all jobs accurately according to picking slips received from sales

Follow the production schedule as a guideline for prioritizing manufacturing tasks

Ensure all manufacturing aligns with the daily production schedule

Notify procurement department of low stock levels identified during the manufacturing proceed to prevent material shortages and production delays

Bill of Materials Management

Update BOM's to reflect design changes and production adjustments

Collaborate with procurement and draughting departments to ensure BOM accuracy

Regularly review and correct existing BOM's to align with current manufacturing practises

Create BOM's for newly developed products and ensure proper documentation

Pastel Code Creations

Create Codes for all buy in components and manufacturing items in accordance with the established code creation process

Ensure newly created codes are accurately added to the relevant bill of materials

COSTING &MATERIAL USAGE ANAYLSIS

Assist in calculating unit costs per cabinet based on material usage and inventor drawings

Assist in verifying and accurately costing buy in components in coordination with procurement

Picking Slip Control

Issue picking slips to the main store for material issuing

Explode BOM's for the main store to facilitate accurate issuing

Manufacture jobs strictly in accordance with approved picking slips
