Description
A high-end butchery based in the Southern Suburbs is seeking to employ a highly experienced Butchery Operations Manager to join their fast-growing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, who can effectively and efficiently implement and manage controls to get the business to the next level, the following will be required.
Responsibilities:




High standard understanding of hygiene and safety.


Quality control across the operations.


Overseeing consistency in processing of products.


Efficient Stock management (ensuring stock availability and allocation).


Efficient Waste management.


Efficient management of Deliveries and Collections to customers.


Retail and wholesale sales management, ensuring customer satisfaction.


Costing, Block testing, GP management.


Effective Planning and efficient implementation.


Staff management.


Additional adhoc tasks will be required.





Requirements:




Matric Certificate.


A Butchery qualification or qualifications such as SAQA.


At least 5+ years butchery and food operations management experience required.


Ability to implement and manage HACCP standards in the butchery.


FMCG principles knowledge.


Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English


Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel.


Excellent numerical skills.
