Description
Complement Recruitment are recruiting for 2x International Sales Consultants from within the Courier, Logistics and Distribution and Supply Chain sectors in Ekurhuleni Johannesburg, Gauteng. The main purpose of the role is to ensure that new business is brought on board in line with individual sales targets and the companies national (public sector) and international sales strategy towards revenue growth. As per our clients request, EE and previously disadvantaged applicants will take preference. Salary: R30k CTC Per MonthMinimum Requirements:Grade 12; Relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous.Minimum 3 years’ experience in the domestic and international courier industryPackage excludes commission which is earned upon targets to be discussed with shortlisted applicantsDuties:Acquire new business, in line with budget requirements, by successful prospecting, and effective negotiating skills.To build strong and effective relationships with Key Account Customers in line with our customer centric business model.Carry out all duties in accordance with ISO proceduresManage the pipeline of opportunities from current and prospective customers to ensure that sales goals/strategies can be met. This includes qualification of opportunities within the pipeline, proper prioritization of activities, and management of time and commitments to ensure priority opportunities move through the sales cycle.Close sales prospects, to meet sales goals/strategies and contribute to company profitability. This includes solution design and preparation of proposals, performing or coordinating presentations when necessary, and closing the sale as quickly, efficiently and independently as possible by applying a solution-selling methodology and properly managing the sales cycle.Complete all sales paperwork promptly, thoroughly and accurately, to ensure company profitability and maximize our ability to deliver a high-quality solution and minimize potential problems or issues in service delivery or invoicing. This includes all new account documentation and sales reports.Ensure that reports are continually and accurately up dated with progress on prospects.Frequently engage / communicate with account/customersManage customer perceptions of services providedEnsure all new business accounts are implemented timeously and effectively.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Own transport – reliable and trustworthyExperience of Courier / Road Freight IndustryExtensive International sales courier experienceGood knowledge of International courier services – inbound and outbound freightComputer literate. (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint)A clear understanding of Freight Audit ReportsExcellent communication & client relations & service orientation skillsProfessional Presentation SkillsBusiness development skillsProven track record of new business sales & client retentionAttention to detail & follow up skillsAdministrative skillsGood planning & organizing skills
