General Shop Assistant required.We require the services of a young dynamic individual to assist with the day to day running of a retail and take away shop.The individual needs to be of sober habits Be timeous for workHave previous experience within the retail environment, preferably with fish and chipsThe preferred individual should be customer focused, friendly, polite and engaging.It would be preferable if the individual lives within close proximity to store, Lorraine, Charlo, Walmer or Overbaakens area and have their own transport.Working hours are: Mon to Wed 08:30 - 18:00Thur to Fri 08:30 - 20:00Saturday 08:30 - 17:00Sunday 08:30 - 14:00Alternate weekend work is a requirement. Our client, a well known nursery, seeks to employ a Receiving/Checkpoint Clerk to join their operations in Gqeberha. This role is responsible for duties at checkpoint as well as limited stores and goods receiving tasks.
Duties:
Verify slips with purchases/goods after customer leaves tillpoint
Report writing in cases of discrepancies/incidents
Follow up with cashiers when above occurs
Report any incidents to management immediately
Keep an eye on customer parking area, ensuring a safe and secure environment
Assist in stores with deliveries, counting and checking stock
Welcoming customers, following Covid-19 protocols and ensuring all customers sanitize upon entry
