Homesteading/ off grid/ tiny house/ self sustainable community/ property for rent

Dignified Simplicity, an established countryside self-sustainable community in Karkloof of KZN Midlands, currently has opportunity for new members to join us. One tiny house is available for rent (a lovely wooden cabin), or one can establish on a to-be chosen site an own (removable) tiny house, or build using natural materials. Or you got a houseboat? We have two dams. Each stand offers a unique atmosphere and opportunity. We can consider singles, a couple, or a small family, plus a limited number/ variety of pets, with an own food garden. A limited amount of grazing is also available, for livestock. Every site will be supplied with fresh drinking water from our centralized borehole. A limited amount of additional land is still also available, for grazing of livestock. A community centre is currently under construction, as well as an entertainment venue, where we have hosted workshops, a world renown musician, retreats and informative, educational open days. Creative arts and varied production are enjoyed here. We encourage like-minded folk to apply or inquire, by first coming to visit, in person, so we can familiarize with each other and discuss the parameters and requirements of such communal living. Regrettably, discussing all the finer details before a physical visit is discouraged, for various reasons, and so we ask that the first point of entry is to be a visit to the project. Overnight camping is available, as well as basic overnight accommodation in one of our guest caravans.
