In stead of two long blades placed opposite each other on the rotor disc, four smaller blades are displaced on the rotor disc. This ensures that there is always a blade engaging the tree in the chipper. The result is less vibration and a more steady strain on the machine. This leads to two important gains:

- lower fuel consumption

- a very uniform chip quality making the end product
