POWER TRIKE FOR SALE It is with great regret and an enormous amount of sadness that the time has now come for me to have to part with my beloved Power Trike. For those who are unfamiliar with what a Power Trike is, it is an electronic machine that is very simply attached, by the wheelchair user themselves or by an assistant (using the Power Trike’s own levered clamps), to the footrests of any standard manual wheelchair. Once so attached the wheelchair can then be propelled by the Power Trike’s own powerful electric motor. Using the Power Trike has given me and can give any wheelchair user an ENORMOUS amount of freedom and independence to go anywhere they wish, ON THEIR OWN. I have been particularly meticulous about keeping my Power Trike at ALL times in perfect condition. It is currently in daily use and is in absolutely perfect working order . I have been so using this machine for some 5 years now. It was bought from CE Mobility in Maitland who do, and are fully knowledgeable and equipped to, service it fully when required. The cost of a new Power Trike from CE Mobility, inclusive of VAT is now R30 475. However given that my Power Trike is not brand new I am asking only half of this new cost, viz. R15 200 o n c o.
