Wooden safety gates

We handcraft wooden safety gates for staircases. We offer the following models:

- Indoor round slats (Pine): R800
- Indoor broad slats (Pine): R1050
- Outdoor round slats (Meranti): R1000
- Outdoor broad slats (Garapa): R1400

The standard dimensions are 90 x 70 cm. Custom dimensions and other wood types* are available on request.

The model in the pictures is made using reclaimed Garapa decking - an environmentally friendly alternative to new timber. Garapa wood is rot- and insect-resistant, making it an ideal choice for outdoor applications.

Our safety gates are finished with a durable varnish (clear or toned, glossy or matt) and come with high-quality wall plugs and screws for mounting. Lead time is approximately 5-10 working days. Serious buyers only please.

Free pick-up is available in the Strand. Courier delivery can be arranged at an extra cost. We also offer installations for Helderberg (R250), Grabouw (R400), Stellenbosch (R400) and Cape Town (R550-650, depending on the location).
