Vintage Toys and Collectibles Museum

Those of you who have visited the 'Toy Museum' will know that it's all about preserving items from the last 40 years of pop culture, having converted a large chunk of my childhood home into a showroom and gallery. The goal from day one has been to manifest a permanent gallery/museum exhibition venue to share a passion for collecting. What I've set up is not a conventional retail operation, but a proof of concept to inspire collectors and perhaps attract investors who believe in the idea of having a toy museum of 80's & 90's nostalgia items in SA. Most importantly, I feel we need to preserve a lot of the pop culture from the recent past and set up a permanent home for the museum that the public can enjoy. Those who have experienced nostalgia will often feel a remarkable sense of time-travel and joy, something I think we all need more of in these very trying times.

Articulated Collectables opened in Lonehill in 2019 to share a passion for vintage toys and collectables with the greater collecting community - an art gallery and/or 'Toy Museum' preserving items from the last 40 years of pop culture - in particular action figures.
