Vintage SADF staaldak with webbing made under licence from France by C J Fuchs Ltd dated 1968

Also known as M51 (based on French design) which in turn was influenced by the USA M1 helmet.

This helmet was also known as the OTAN helmet (which is NATO abbreviated in the French language).

Very good condition and complete with removable plastic inner lining

Collectable

Steel shell of helmet still covered with original webbing

Internal headgear in very good condition with leather banding and strap

Length 29cm

Width 25cm

Height when standing on flat surface about 20cm
