Description
Food Processing, packaging, imports and exports company seeks an IT Manager to be responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities, determine the IT needs of the company and is responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfil the company’s information systems requirements.

The ideal candidate lives in Table View, Melbos, Blouberg, Dynefortin, Parklands, Sunningdale or surrounds.

Key responsibilities:
Must provide end-user technical support,
desk-side assistance for the software environment and maintains the company’s IT environment.
Must enforce policies related to user onboarding and exit, change management as well as license management.
Must have a vision for continuous improvement implementing new technologies available.
Will serve also as liaison to all service providers linked to the IT environment and manages the necessary SLA’s and contracts in place.
Will be responsible for receiving inquiries and issues from users, using expertise to determine the root cause of problems and resolve them.
Must install, configure, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, network connectivity, printers and peripherals.
Must take the lead with upgrades and changes to the IT environment.
Maintaining an inventory of office equipment, desktops, laptops, monitors, phones, and working with our suppliers to maintain that inventory as needed.
Interfacing directly with internal customers with a professional and positive demeanour.
Managing PC relocation per Move/Add/Change requests.
Installing and upgrading hardware and software.
Submitting service requests with hardware/software suppliers.
Maintaining the office equipment inventory.
Will have access to Protected Data.
Will have privileged access to the IT infrastructure.

Qualifications/Skills:
Experience with end-user computing platforms including Windows 10, Office 365, MS Office Suite, Outlook, MS Teams, PowerBI.
Experience with SQL DBA administration.
Microsoft SQL DBA administration certification preferred.
Experience with network administration.
Microsoft Network administration certification preferred.
Knowledge of SAP Business One.
Knowledge of Active Directory.
Knowledge of network, printer and other hardware setup and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting.
Must understand cyber security and have a good understanding of Microsoft SQL.
Experience with data analytics, reporting, Excel macro’s, SQL queries is not essential, but highly beneficial.

Experience needed:
2–4 years of Information Technology Desktop Support experience.
Microsoft Windows10,

Microsoft SQL,
SAP Business One
Hardware includes desktops,
laptops,
servers,
NAS drives,
contracted network printers,
surveillance and
PABX systems.
