Inventory and Quality Controller

A well-established Textile Wholesaler based in Epping, Cape Town, requires a Inventory / Quality Controller to start ASAP.

We are looking for an exceptionally organised, trustworthy & responsible individual who will work closely with the Operations Manager and Buyer.

Monthly Salary: R16 000,00

Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities / Duties will include but not be limited to:

Inventory:

· Take full responsibility for inventory control

· Efficient management of stock movement and levels

· Actively manage and minimise stock losses

· Stock take

· Develop systems and procedures to optimise and improve stock control

Quality:

· Complete & timeous quality checks on all products

· Immediately report any problems to the buyer

· Develop systems and procedures for improving quality checks & quality control

Assist Operations Manager and Buyer where necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

· Clear criminal and credit record. Applicants must agree to both checks being done.

· At least 2 contactable references who can verify that this position is suitable to the applicant

· Grade 12 + relevant tertiary education

· Minimum of 3 years relevant experience

· Fully computer literate - Sage Pastel Evolution advantageous
