HSS Prewired Pickguard Loaded with Alnico 5 Pickups – Black with Ivory (Push Pull Coil Split Mod)

A high quality pickguard with a Karman Vintage Style 5 way switch, Full Sized Brass Shaft Potentiometers. Complete with pickups and electronics installed and connected, all you need to do is disconnect your old pickguard from output jack and connect this pickguard to the wires from your output jack with our solderless connector and one wire must come from your trem claw to the screw connector and then screw the pickguard to the body of the guitar (screws can be ordered separately)

Pickups: Karman Alnico 5 humbucker in bridge and Karman KS35 Single coil Alnico 5 Pickups in neck and middle – classic voiced pickups with a more modern output than your typical classic pickups, bridge humbucker is high output (DC 14k) and the bridge is coil splittable via push push pot turning it into a single coil to give the classic strat quack sound.

Potentiometers: Full sized brass shaft potentiometers are used, they are great quality with smooth turning, we use a Audio Taper (A500k) for Volume with Treble Bleed and Audio Taper (A250k) for Tone 1 and A500k for Tone 2 with 0.047uF High quality Capacitor, neck and middle pickup is connected to tone 1, bridge is connected to tone 2. Bridge is coil splittable via Push Pull pot on Tone 2 (other custom wiring options available – email us with your request)

PLEASE NOTE: This pickguard is the exact layout and spec as USA/MEX Strat, it will fit Squier too, though sometimes the screw holes won’t line up 100 percent and you must make new ones. It may fit other guitars with some retrofitting, but we can not guarantee this since there are too many variations of the Strat. Also take note that the switch is larger than the cheaper import switch which may require some extra routing to your body where the switch goes depending on your routing depth (35mm is required) some guitars like Bullet and Affinity Squier have very shallow routing. By purchasing this prewired pickguard we will assume you have removed your current pickguard and checked your routing cavity and we will also assume you are willing to make some modifications if your guitar does not have the same mounting layout as standard USA/MEX Fender.
