2011 Honda crf450x project bike

I was in the process of converting this bike to a road going adventure bike, but due to work constraints do not have the time to complete it.

The following was done to bike:

New piston and cam chain

Carb re-jetted

Twin air filter and air box opened up

New linkage bearings

New swingarm bearings

New steering stem bearings

New chain, chain guides and runners

Brake pads front and rear

Two new stainless steel intake valves with heavier springs, seated by Appies motorcycles

New battery

New gear shifter

New sprockets front and rear

New street light kit complete with indicators, horn, brake pressure sensors, handle bar assemblies, harness and rear tail light and number plate assembly

Total for new spares around fifteen thousand rand

All the parts except the head have been fitted. Everything is finger tight and must be torqued

Street light kit has been fitted but indicator ends must be crimped to fit into harness. All parts available

Head must be fitted to start bike. It ran perfectly before re-build but i wanted to put new parts in.

Bike will need:

A few nuts and bolts for plastics. 90% there

The plastic air filter cage. My dog ate the original!!

Tyres of your choice.

I will supply the bike in rolling form. The engine is fitted. Just need to fit the head

I will supply the fuel tank, seat, plastics, air filter ect.

This is a perfect opportunity to own a practically new play bike for very little work and minimal financial outlay
