Description
Restoration project that I do not have time for anymore.
Motorcycle starts but does not run. Seems to miss on a different cylinder every time. Has been standing for the past 4 years.
Work done:
- Head rebuilt and valves replaced
- Carbs rebuilt and cleaned
- Both fork seals replaced
- New front brake pads
- Petrol tank cleaned and relined with epoxy - New spark plugs
- New cone air filters. I do have the papers. The bike has been scrapped so will need to go through road worthy and police clearance.

This is an honest bike and in very good condition. Get on, start it within two to three kicks and go ride it on any MX track or enduro trial.
Some notable points of this bike:
Engine recently rebuilt - new bearings, new standard genuine parts Kawasaki piston and rings fitted and OEM gasket set.
Boyesen valves fitted and correct jetting for aftermarket pipe.
Bearings replaced on front and rear suspension.
Coolant and engine oil is hours old and no fluid leaks.
Forks and rear shock rebuilt with uprated springs for heavier rider - standard ones available.
Original Kawasaki tool bag (no original tools inside) and working front and rear lights.
Grab straps front and rear.
Aftermarket handlebars with raisers, bar padding and handguards.
FMF Gnarly Gold Series header (small dent on expansion chamber) with FMF PowerCore2 silencer.
Extra FMF Gnarly Header (has some dents and surface rust) Only done two Saturday rides since fitting a new EK O-ring chain and sprockets - still has packaging wax on the chain.
XL Helmet and goggles included if you can use it.
Lightweight plastic bash plate - not fitted.
Bike was transported in August 2023 from KZN when I bought it and the left radiator was bent during transit. It doesn't leak and the bike does not overheat, and I would 've replaced it purely for cosmetics reasons, if I kept the bike.
I have only ridden this bike three times, but I have a knee injury that's not happy with me riding offroad anymore. I don't want to sell this bike, but I can't use it and would like to see someone else enjoy this bike the way I thought I would still be able to.
