General worker

We are looking for an energetic, hands-on individual to join our team in Walmer. If you are someone who enjoys working with your hands, is eager to learn a specialized trade, and isn't afraid of a challenge, this is the perfect entry-level opportunity for you.

We are looking for a reliable —someone we can train from the ground up to become a skilled professional in the signage industry.

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Physical Ability: You must be comfortable working at heights (ladders and scaffolding) and be physically fit.

• Presentable: Must be presentable and represent the business with neat and clean habits.

• Neat work habits: Must work neatly and organized, will have the responsibility of keeping the work area clean and organized, including all tools and tool boxes.

• Location: Must reside in the Walmer area (Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha), as no transport is provided.

• Communication: Excellent understanding of English (verbal and written) to follow complex instructions.

• Aptitude: You should be naturally good with your hands, have a strong memory, and be able to solve basic problems on-site.

• Attitude: You must take direction well, remain calm under pressure, and maintain strictly sober habits.

• Reliability: Punctuality and consistent attendance are non-negotiable.

• Training: Full on-the-job training provided for the right candidate.

• Remuneration: Starting at the Basic Wage.

• Probation: A 3-month probation period applies to assess fit and skill acquisition.

• Environment: Fast-paced, varied, and hands-on.
