Giraffe Designs is in the furniture manufacturing industry and is based in the Greater Cape Town Area and we service the surrounding Suburbs as well. Our company strives to produce a variety of bespoke, high quality furniture and we are in need of a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR to oversee the production department in our factory that is situated in Beaconvale, PAROW. Qualifications and Experience: · Matric (Grade 12) · A National Diploma in Production/Operations Management · 3+ years’ experience in production/operations at supervisory level Knowledge and Skills Required: · Broad knowledge of Production scheduling, Management and Strategic Planning Skills. · Organizing and efficiency and the ability to track expenses and compile budget reports. · Leadership and interpersonal skills · Understanding of machine controls and instrumentation. · Time management · Problem solving skills. · Quality management · IT and numerical skills · Health and safety · Coaching and Communication skills · Team building skills. · Able to deal with complex issues in a fast paced environment.
