Textile Machinist needed to start immediately

Sewing Machinist’s Responsibilities

• Heat cutting including heat cutting machinery
• Measurement using a measuring tape
• Stitching using industrial sewing machines
• To ensure quality work at all times
• To understand job requirements before proceeding
• To work closely with supervisors / QA team
• Ability to work independently
• Understanding of systems and procedures

NATURE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

1. Working in a quick turnaround and pressurized environment

2. Jobs requires working within a team

3. Attention to detail on work done

4. Booking system needs to be adhered to daily.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

Knowledge:

· Basic Mathematics

· Ability to measure items with a measuring tape

· Stitching using an industrial sewing machine

· Knowledge of textile printing.

Experience:

3 to 5 years experience in the textile printing industry.

WORKING HOURS

Shift Work

Day Shift is Monday to Thursday from 06h00 to 14h30 / 13h30 to 22h00

Friday from 6h00 to 12h00 and 11h00 to 17h00
