Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot problems that occur during production
- Instruct and communicate accordingly with management and technical support
- Oversee the Sample Set production line according to production schedule and ensure deadlines and output targets are met daily.
- Create a production schedule
- Matric
- Able to plan efficiently and prioritize work daily with pattern makers and machinists
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the Sewing/Textile environment
- Technical Skills / Garment construction knowledge
- Able to Sew and assist with the machinists when they have a problem
- Prepared to work on a Saturday till 13:00pm
- Microsoft Office
- SYNC is an advantage
- Hands on Management (be proactive on the floor)
- Quality Control / line supervision
- Technically minded / garment construction
- Computer literate
- Garment industry manager
- Strong personality
- Ability to handle pressure
- Must have organisational skills
- Understanding Sewing / Cutting / Machining
- Understand Patterns
