Die Issuer & Repairer

Requirements:

• A Technical Matric is essential.
• A Tool/Die Maker trade certification will be considered a strong advantage.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in the rotary die cutting and/or toolmaking industry.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Willing and able to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Proactive, responsible, and reliable.
• Capable of working independently and taking initiative.
• Strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain dies prior to use to ensure operational readiness.
• Manage die repair materials and ensure availability at all times.
• Follow up on the status of die orders and ensure timely updates.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date register of all dies, including their condition.
• Perform regular re-racking and inspection of dies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the die room.
• Support the sales team in ordering new dies.
• Liaise with the Graphic Artist regarding new job specifications.
