Experienced Seamstress

Position Available: Experienced Seamstress – Brackenhurst, Alberton

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Seamstress to join our team at our Brackenhurst, Alberton location. This is a full-time, on-site position, with a start date of 12 January 2026.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of solid, hands-on experience as a seamstress
• Proven track record in garment construction and alterations
• Proficiency in operating a variety of industrial sewing equipment, including:

• Industrial sewing machines
• Overlockers
• Straight-stitch machines
• Coverseam machines
• Binding machines
• Buttonhole and button-sewing machines
• Any additional equipment as provided or required by the company

Role Expectations

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet both company and customer deadlines
• Must be fully proficient in English—able to read, write, and communicate clearly
• English is the official language of communication on the premises and must be used at all times to ensure clear understanding
• Report directly to the manager, who will provide direction, support during peak periods, and assign additional projects as needed
• Maintain a high standard of professional conduct during business hours, especially in the presence of clients
