QC welding inspector level 1 looking for a job.

I'm a qualified welding and fabrication inspector level 1 SAIW looking for employment, I have more than 5 years of experience ( workshop) as welder with trade certificate.

I'm currently working for inspection company responsible for inspection work on power stations. My job is currently not a full time but part-time work ( freelancing),i.e working on call outs only.

My duties include:

Carrying out the inspection for non conformance.

Using measures equipments such as micrometres, vernier calipers, gauges,etc to check for dimensions and such.

Record non conformance on NCR'S.

Complete QCC's.

Interpretation of drawings, QP's as well as inspections and test plans.

Submission of NCR's to relevant authorities for repairs/corrections.

Ensuring the compliance with SHEQ policy.

I also have knowledge of ISO 9000 series and new editions.

I have working knowledge of AWSD1.1 , ASME lX and related standards.

I'm currently situated in Witbank Mpumalanga but I'm willing to relocate anywhere around Southern Africa. I'm also able to take on any responsibility immediately.
