Permanent Logistics Scheduler

My client is a very well established and reputable concern who markets agricultural products. They are seeking to employ a Logistics Scheduler with a Logistics qualification and 1 - 3 years experience.
Duties will include:


Executing on contract terms and conditions


Stock as well as quality control


Managing and executing import and export documents


Negotiating rates with transporters


Adding new transporters and updating insurance


Develop relationships with transporters and clients


Compile transport contracts


Follow-up with trucks to determine ETA


Keeping clients informed regarding status of cargo


Daily admin function


Collecting POD's


Weekly planning of truck movements and delivery


After hours contact with all relevant parties, 7 days a week.



Requirements:


Relevant logistics qualification


Fully bilingual


Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
