My client, a well-established concern marketing agricultural products in Stellenbosch Technopark, is seeking to employ an Administrative and Logistics Assistant with at least 2-3 years' experience in a logistics role. A relevant degree will be to the candidate's advantage

Excellent customer service
Good planning and organizational skills
Fully bilingual with excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a team
Good attention to detail
Ability to work accurately and efficient
Responsibiities:
Arranging transport
Negotiation of transport rates
Sending of load cons
Communication with suppliers and loading points
Follow-up with trucks to determine ETA
Keeping clients informed regarding status of cargo
Updating system from loaded to delivered
Handle everyday logistical challenges
Adding new transporters and updating insurance
Develop relationships with transporters and clients
Daily admin functions
Collecting POD's
Weekly planning of truck movements and delivery
Opening and sending of contracts and collection of signed contracts
Invoicing
Supplier payments
Loading of transport invoices
Consult with:
Customer
Traders
Suppliers
Team member
Requirements:
Must be fully bilingual
At least 2-3 years' experience in a logistics role
Relevant degree will count in the candidate's favour
