Supply Chain & Warehouse Manager

Our client based in Isithebe is seeking a Supply Chain and Warehouse Manager. The successful incumbent will be reporting to the Factory Manager and will be part of the Senior Management teamMain job functionExperience managing inbound (freight clearing, forwarding and receipting) and outbound logistics (dispatch and distribution)Experience with forecasting and allocationsManagement of outsourcing and value add processesExperience implementing and working with warehouse management systems and tools – Warehouse layout, stacking, barcoding and scanning, binning, traceabilityFull responsibility for inventory control and procedures (on site and off site) – Cycle counting, month end stock counts and recons, Annual auditing (external)Supplier contract negotiating (pricing, annual review, audits and evaluation)Manage staffQUALIFICATIONS:QualificationsDiploma/Degree in Supply chain/Warehouse Management /Transport & Logistics ManagementIndustrial Engineering Diploma/Degree (added advantage)Operations Management Diploma/Degree (added advantage)EXPERIENCE:Experience/CriteriaMust have at least 10 years’ experience as a Supply chain/Warehouse ManagerMust have a good understanding of production and process flowsAdherence to Quality systems (FSSC 22000, ISO 9001)Computer literate – MS officeSYSPRO is essentialAbility to work under pressure and multitaskAccurate, precise and attention to detailAbility to identify areas of improvement and implement changePeople managementStructured approach and problem - solving skillsAbility to see the bigger picture
