Responsibilities: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the road freight and logistics marketDevelop and implement strategic sales plans to grow revenue and expand market presence in Johannesburg and surrounding regionsConduct client needs analyses and propose tailored transport and logistics solutions that align with customer requirementsBuild and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfactionPrepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clientsNegotiate pricing, service level agreements, and contract terms in line with company standards and profitability targetsCollaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional delivery performanceMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edgeMeet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, providing accurate reporting and sales forecasts to managementRequirements:Minimum 4-5 years experience in Road Freight Proven B2B sales experience, preferably within the road freight, logistics, or transport sectorStrong understanding of South African road freight operations, routes, and market dynamics (advantageous)Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environmentExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage decision-makers at all levelsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a consultative sales approachValid drivers licence and willingness to travel for client meetingsHighly self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervisionProfessional, confident, and customer-centric mindset, with strong relationship-building capabilitiesMatric is essential
