Join Us as a Customer Service & Operations Leader – E-HAIL

We’re looking for a Customer Service Leader / Operations Leader to be the eyes and ears of our client in the market—ensuring that supply meets demand and that our drivers feel supported every step of the way.
This is not your typical operations role. You’ll be out in the field, on the phone, and at the heart of our driver community—selling our value proposition, building trust, and making sure every driver is ready to hit the road with confidence.

 

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of e-hailing. You’ll be at the frontline of growth, building relationships that matter, and ensuring our client drivers succeed. Location: Johannesburg
Availability: Immediate start for January 2026 

What You’ll Do


  • Drive growth by participating in market visits to generate new driver leads.

  • Conduct info sessions with current and prospective drivers, showcasing why our platform is the best choice.

  • Lead outbound call campaigns to engage prospective and newly signed-up drivers.

  • Build strong relationships with drivers—understanding their needs, concerns, and goals, and positioning our company as their solution.

  • Guide drivers through the sign-up process, ensuring they’re ready to take their first trips quickly and smoothly.

  • Manage strategic partnerships with third parties to strengthen our ecosystem.

  • Act as the voice of the customer, capturing insights and feeding them back into the business to drive improvement.

 

What You’ll Need

  • 6 - 10 years' experience as a Transport Coordinator / Customer Service Lead / Operations Coordinator (Great track record of achievements within each role held - customer service and driver performance success)
  • Private vehicle hire / taxi / e-hail / transport industry exposure 
  • Own reliable vehicle and valid drivers' license as you will be travelling 
  • Matric
  • Proficient with Googlesheets (Excel) and PowerBI
  • A self-motivated, autonomous mindset—you know your goals and find efficient ways to achieve them.

  • Action-oriented energy—you don’t wait, you make things happen.
  • Excellent English communication - written and verbal 
  • Solution driven, thinking outside of the box 

  • A true people person—you love connecting, inspiring, and motivating others.
  • Great track record of achievements within each role held
  • Adaptability—you stay poised, organized, and effective in a fast-paced enviro
