Job Title: Logistics Controller
Location: Montague Gardens, Cape Town
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Controller to join our team based in Montague Gardens. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and optimizing logistics operations to ensure efficient movement of goods and on-time deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and track daily transport and delivery schedules
• Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth logistics operations
• Monitor shipments, deliveries, and stock movements
• Ensure all delivery documentation is accurate and completed timeously
• Resolve delivery issues, delays, and discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to logistics activities
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety standards

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in a logistics or transport coordination role
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Computer literacy (MS Excel, email, logistics systems)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Reliable and detail-focused

Advantageous:

• A valid forklift license and Code 10 drivers license will be advantageous
• Experience within FMCG, warehousing, or distribution environments
• Knowledge of routing and fleet coordination
