Most of the acreage consists of slanted hills covered in shale. Some of the acreage is low-lying quality peat soil, along the river.

Farming infrastructure consists of a new, well-built shed used for storing vehicles, tractors, and equipment, an enclosed barn used for storing fodder and a 3-pen milking parlour. All are in good repair.
