We are an MSP IT Company based in Westville Kwa-Zulu Natal.

We currently service clients throughout South Africa.

We are looking for a candidate to join our team.

1 – 3 years practical experience of the following.

Basic Knowledge:

Microsoft Windows Server OS.

DNS.

DHCP.

File Server.

Active Directory.

Microsoft Exchange Account Creation Account Management.

Microsoft Office 365 Account Creation Account Management.


High Level Knowledge:

Microsoft Windows Desktop OS.

OS Install Data Backup & Reinstall.

Microsoft Office Application Install.

Upgrade Outlook Profile Setup / Migrate.

Desktop / Laptop Hardware Fault Troubleshooting.

Hard Drive Cloning.

Internet Connectivity Router Configuration.

Printers Setup Local Printer Setup Network Printer.


Optional & Bonus Knowledge:

Basic Understanding Of The Following:

Backups.

Firewalls, Wi-Fi

Routing.

Switching.

VOIP.

Remote Monitoring Management.


General Characteristics:

Good Communication Skills Via Email, Phone Or In Person.

Work under pressure with minimal oversight.

Self-Manage Workload.

Presentable At All Time.

Self-Motivated.


Vehicle:

The position is for an in-house and roaming IT Engineer.

If the need should arise for an onsite call the engineer will need their own reliable transport.


Required Duties:

Helpdesk Queue Monitoring And Ticket Logging.

Respond To And Resolve Emergency Support Tickets.

Liaising With Third Party Providers On Behalf Of Employer And Our Clients.

Ensure All Tickets Are Dealt With In A Timeous Manner And Handled Correctly.

Manage Client Backups.

Manage Client Documentation.

Able To Work Standby Shift One Full Week Every 6 Weeks.

Assist With Call Outs As And When Needed.


Required Performance:

Our business focuses closely on individual performance that we measure in the following ways.

KPIS are used to measure your daily / weekly / monthly input.

Studies & exams are used to measure your annual upskilling.

Our business works on a basis of what you put in is what you will get out, treat the business well and the business will treat you better.


Salary:

We are offering R10,000.00 per month negotiable depending on skill set. Assuming the probation period is passed the salary will then be reviewed.
