The role of the IT Frontline Support Engineer will be to ensure a Central point of contact between the users within the station and IT at this leading Global Logistics & Transportation Service provider’s offices in Cape Town.

Minimum Requirements

· A+ and N+ Certified

· Windows 8, Windows 10 extensive knowledge

· Basic knowledge of Office 365

· Must have at least 1 – 2 years working experience within a similar role

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work well with a team in a fast paced, constantly changed environment and follow instructions from supervisors and senior colleagues

· Dependable to be at work during assigned shifts and to complete work as expected

· Ability to multitask and meet specific goals set by supervisors and management

· Extensive Hardware knowledge including: Desktops, laptops, printers and networking equipment

· Hardware installations and set up

· Basic networking skills

· Must have own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license to ensure external support

Key Responsibilities

· Frontline support to all branches from the helpdesk system or telephonically

· Hardware and Software installations and support

· Helpdesk system queries, quick and effective resolution of the queries

· Install in-house software at customers

· Adhere to all related policies and documented procedures

· Report directly into the IT Manager

Remuneration Package Offered:

· R11 000 Cost to Company per month

· Fuel Allowance

· Company Provident Fund Contribution (Compulsory)
