Description

Duties:

  • Network performance analysis
  • Network availability
  • Provide helpdesk support for network users
  • Fault logging with relevant service providers
  • Evaluate connectivity issues within the various LAN/WAN technologies (Cisco, Aruba, HP, Mikrotik and Cambium)
  • Cisco configuration and troubleshooting
  • Perform post-resolution follow ups to support requests
  • Reinforce SLAs to manage end-user expectations
  • Take ownership and responsibility of an issues from start through to a successful resolution

Skills:

  • Telephonic etiquette is a must
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Prioritize workflow by incident severity
  • Analytical and able to solve problems on their own

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • 1 year work experience in similar role or experience in customer services
  • Basic to fair knowledge of router vendors and LAN configuration
  • Basic knowledge of CLI (Windows CMD, Cisco IOS, HP)
  • Level 1 Network Troubleshooting
  • Level 2 Network Troubleshooting
