Mattress Tufting Machine

Upright / Vertical (unique design) mattress Tufting and manual compression machine. Floor mountable. Width: 1,95m. Height: 2,15m. Accommodates all sizes, from Single mattress to King size extra length, and up to 40cm thick. The unit comes with 2 x 6mm diameter stainless steel tufting needles with handles, 50cm in length. (Tufting does not require fabrics to be quilted, and the end product is more solid / sturdy and looks more rounded from an aesthetics point of view). Also, Tufting gives you more control over the finished product, whereas Quilting is more expensive and you most probably have to rely on an outside entity to do Quilting on your behalf. Also, Quilters only do minimum quantities which require larger capital lay-out for additional fabric purchases. The value of the 2 x stainless steel needles alone is +-R5,000.
